Commercial plumbing for restaurants, wineries and packing sheds
Floor drains, backflow, eye wash stations, water heater banks and repairs after hours, for businesses from vineyards in Wapato to a winery in Prosser.
Chapter 01
What a kitchen, a tasting room or a packing shed does to plumbing
Commercial pipes work harder than a house's. A restaurant puts grease, food solids and near-constant hot water through a few lines. A winery or fruit packer moves wash water across a floor to drains that cannot be allowed to back up. A retail store or a dental office needs restrooms, service sinks and drinking fountains working the day the doors open.
The names on Burke's own client list run from Olive Garden and Mel's Diner in Yakima to El Caporal in Selah, Zirkle Fruit, Desert Wind Winery in Prosser and Sageland Vineyard in Wapato. Behind those names is repair work and new construction: floor drains, backflow repair and replacement, drinking fountains, service sinks, faucets and toilets, for businesses as well as homes.
A blocked line under a parking lot is a different job from a clogged sink. The same crew that clears a kitchen drain runs the jetting truck over lot catch basins, and brings the excavators when a service line has to be dug along the side of a building.

Heater banks, boilers and hydraulic heating
One heater rarely carries a commercial kitchen. One Burke commercial job runs three Rinnai condensing tankless units on a rack above storage tanks, with insulated, labelled lines running off the rack. Burke's repairs and replaces water heaters, gas and electric, boilers and tankless water heaters, and the hydraulic heating systems that go with them.
Water softeners and recirculation systems belong in the same conversation. A recirculation loop keeps hot water moving to the far end of a building, and a softener handles the hard Yakima Valley water before it reaches the heaters. Burke's services both, along with the backflow and floor drains that sit around them.
Chapter 03
Eye wash stations, odors and the after-hours call
Eye wash stations, backflow assemblies and floor drains are the plumbing a shop floor depends on when something goes wrong. Burke's installs eye wash stations and repairs or replaces backflow devices. When a smell has no obvious source, smoke testing locates it: smoke goes through the drain lines, and where it shows up is where the odor is getting out.
Burke's is open 24 hours, 7 days a week, which is the point for a business that cannot close the kitchen or stop a packing line. Call the office on (509) 697-6574, or the second line, (509) 731-9848, and a plumber is sent.

More of the crew at work is on our work, and the lot drains and catch basins are cleared by hydro jetting.

“I called Burke Plumbing for a pipe leak repair. I was given a time the same day and Jesus Guzman and Jorge Nunez from Burke arrived on time. They were professional, quickly identified the issue and fixed the leak with minimal disruption to our business. I am glad I chose them. Would definitely rehire.”
